Mama can be mean! she can be down right evil!

I need your love, compassion and understanding! I try to do my best but at times mama really puts the hurt to me. She can make me feel so bad. It is not fair. She should show compassion to her husband. And - as scripture says she should be submissive and obedient! Let me share our problem and then I am sure you will take my side.

You see mama loves table games like Skipbo, Uno, Domino's, Spinner Domino's, Sequence and others. She is a vicious player and goes for my throat! As her husband she should help me win. She should play those cards and domino's that help me - right? She is a good player, never gets angry if she loses, but she sure does let you know when she wins. She will look at me, smile, say sorry, then stick it to me! Thats just not right! Please let her know in your comments that she needs to show me more respect.

Mama wants to make some comments now: This is Mama "POOR BABY"! Isn't that the way you play too?? :o) Mama

Robin & Darla - Now read the post! Mama is mean! Help - support me!

Robin said...

Papa, I hate to say this, but I'm on Mama's side :) I don't help anyone win, unless of course its my son, but I will get tough with him soon ;) Actually for the right bribery I would probably help you win :) with a wink here and there or a shrug of the shoulder or if I was banker and you looked needy I might slip you some extra cash - haha just kidding :)

Indian Lake Papa said...

Robin! How could you?? Your my friend! I am saddened by your choice! Wah WAh!

Ha ha! She is helping you. She's helping you to grow in humbleness, meekness, and forgiveness, yes? :)

I am not a sore loser, but if I win I am jumping up and down over it!! haha!! I am very competitive.

Excuse me!!! I have played table games with both papa and mama on several occasions and I complain every time that mama is trying to help papa out. I can't believe he calls her mean and evil when she is always saying, "What do you want me to play now, Jimmy Baby?" On the other hand, she does seem to enjoy winning!!

Papa, I am afraid that I am even worse than Mama. I can be very competitive, another character flaw I am still working on. :) I hate to lose and love to rub it in when I win. :) I have perfected my victory dance. :)

I will admit I do let my cousin, who has dawn's syndrome, beat me at Uno. I still don't like it when he jumps up and celebrates. :)

"She is a good player, never gets angry if she loses"

Hmmmm..... I do feel for you!
I mean, if she's just downright better than you, then she should be helping you by showing you how to be a better player.

Maybe she should provide pen and paper so you can take notes??!!

And a higlighter to cover those winning moves??!!

And maybe we should teach her the victory dance?

I'm just sayin'.... =D

Deb - So sad - I thought you & Brandy would stick up for me! Mama is tough on me!

Brent & Ed - we guys need to stick together! Please?

Janis! I just knew you'd take Mama's side! Your suppose to be my friend! I am sure your hub Howie agrees w/me!

CRossview - are you on my side or what ?? Do not leave me out there!

ROFL!
Now I don't normally push my posts on people, but in the interest of showing you which side I'm on, could you please read:

The bottom half.

Read the new post! hahahaha Hubs read the title first, and said "your papa is calling mama mean and evil" I said "wonder what he did" hahahahaha sorry love you bunches!!!

Isn't it a little hard when someone else wins and they do your happy dance?? I hate that..do your own happy dance! ahahahahaaa! Papa look at it as service..if you don't lose no one else can get that chance to win...mmmmm a servants heart! :)

Indian Lake Papa said...

Crossview! I read that! :o( !! You are just as mean as mama! You both need counseling - and I could objectively do it!

Darla - I don't want to be a servant! I want to be the top dog! I want to do the happy dance! Hum, I wonder if there is a spiritual application here ??? Nah!

Ed said...

Papa you have only two choices, either learn to play better or how to cheat.

Since you and Mama have been married over forty years if you haven't learn to play well enough to beat her already you probably never will. :)

The bible doesn't speak to kindly about cheaters so you may also be out of luck there.

Having survived "women's liberation" I have learned not to mess with the ladies. :)

You are on your own. :)

Indian Lake Papa said...

Ed - between you and I, don't tell the others but I do a victory dance now and then! heh heh!

Tanya said...

I am sorry, I can not support you here. I read this book on Women submitting to your husband. I was told that submitting is a volunteer action. If mama does not want to submit, she does not have too. But, you are the head of the household, so you need to show good examples to her and let her make the decision. I am sorry, you are both sweet and you both need to make the decisions. Love Tanya

CrossView said...

"Objectively"??!! ROFL! =D

hislifeformine said...

Well...she is doing as scripture says...honoring her husband. In not "letting" you win, Mama is being real and honest and very loving.
With the sorry and smile what more could you ask for?
LOL

Heidi said...

Papa~~~

Here's the deal, if the table was reversed would you let her win???
No.....
Let her win..
She's showing you character!!!!

LOL :)

Love this blog. I'm adding you

Indian Lake Papa said...

Tanya you are right - we should both make the decisions! She should make the decision to let me win and I should decide to let her do that!

Crossview - do I sense an attitude of defiance?? I am glad in the midst of the storm my humility and my objectivity comes to the forefront.

HisLife - she could let me win a little more often! Somehow I think after this post my chances have not improved! Welcome to my blog!

Indian Lake Papa said...

Heidi - absolutely I would help her if the tables were turned - she is my sweetheart! Besides she is a member of the weaker sex. My humility is so strong today! Welcome to my world!

CrossView said...

This palce is becoming addicting! LOL!

Not defiance. *halo here*

But serious doubts on your *coughcough* "objectivity"...
at least, on this particular subject! =P

*oops. halo slipped*

Indian Lake Papa said...

Crossview - Get you halo back in place. In case you haven't figured this out - mama and I have a blast! Although she plans to leave me Thursday PM! :o(

I am not the table game fanatic mama is. I usually play when Howie & Janis or Rip & Judy come over - they all gang up on me!

CrossView said...

I need a new halo. This one just keeps slipping. =P

I assumed it was all in good fun. I mean, she DID allow you to post about it. =D

And if you're heading through Dothan, AL (the nearest city to us- even though we're in GA) we'd love to buy you two lunch (or dinner)!

Indian Lake Papa said...

Crossview - We can come right through Dothan! We would come in from Georgia on hwy 84! Have you ever been to Colquitt to their famous play?? Do you IM at all?

Tam said...

Papa, so sorry it took me this long to come to your rescue. I've been dry heaving - argh!

Ahem - Papa DID ask me to come to his rescue earlier...

but.

i.

can.

not.

This is just too fun watching you grovel in your words and your desperate attempts to elevate yourself above our precious little, innocent Mama!

I am sorry...to be the greatest you must first be the least. How good of Mama to help you learn this.

;-)

I Luuuuuuuuuuv You!

Tam - so disappointed!:o( I have become like a father to you! How could you do this to me - we are like flesh and blood! Mama needs to realize that submission & support of your husband is so important! I mean, on our anniversaries I always buy her some nice new appliance to make her work easier! Maybe a new iron this year! I think she will be tickled!:o) !!

Indian Lake Papa said...

Crossview - I sent an email. Let me know when you get it.

CrossView said...

Woo Hoo! Got it! =D

1godsgal said...

Papa...why is this mean Mama post still here????? Tam make Papa go to his room til he can play nice...

Indian Lake Papa said...

Change my post!! ?? NOT TILL I GET SOME SUPPORT!!! Well - maybe later, after mama leaves me today.

Tam said...

Papa, i'm afraid the only "support" you're gonna be getting anytime soon will be from a full body sling after Mama pummels you.

i'm just sayin'!

Indian Lake Papa said...

It sounds like I had better change this post soon or I will be in big trouble! I get no respect!

Tam said...

I support you putting up a new post

=)

Indian Lake Papa said...

The new post is there! This post was fun, but a lot of baloney! :o) My new post is no baloney - Its my life!

Two words:
