Introduction of "Precious II"!

Well this is Papa's toy! it is a Malibu Sportster LX 5.7 Liter V8 310 hp tournament ski boat. If you stop by this summer mama and papa will give you a ride. You can ride in the boat, ski or even ride the "tube".

Mama and papa decided several years ago to purchase Precious II. It is our drawing card. It is a fun activity that brings our family & friends down to the lake where we can be together. It is slightly faster pace than Precious I the pontoon).

The picture below is family enjoying a ride on the tube! Papa has a couple of rules - 1) If you are on ski's or a wake board, papa will drive at the speed you want and be as cooperative as papa can. 2) If you are on the tube - papa makes the rules! :o) 3) If you challenge papa and say that there is no way papa can "dump" you off the tube - heh heh!

No body has been able to keep papa from dumping them yet - if they challenge him! Papa is very cautious with children and adults. Are you ready for a ride ????!!!

P.S. Papa takes donations for gas! It has a 36 gallon tank and burns Premium! :o( !

This is mama! We would love to have you here1 We have several extra bedrooms, several motel units here on the camp & RV camping area as well. Bring your own food - I hate to plan menu's and cook! :o)

Love you - mama
P.S. I also serve as spotter if you need me!

I am way jealous and I don't care of thats wrong :)

I would love to won a boat in our family. Maybe someday. We are within 1 hour of 11 lakes here in Southern Oregon. I grew up around or on boats and I would love to give my kids that same experience.

Nice boat Papa!!!

Thanks Brent - maybe someday we can see if Kota and kass are real good swimmers! My son Jeff, age 37 loves to beat the lake to a froth on the wake board! My daughter is the skier!

5 grew up fishing and water skiing. the kids have been tubing a lot. None of us have wake boarded, but there's always a first!

UGH!!! I sooooooo want to come and stay and play!!

It hurts my heart that I can't! :( Well, I won't say can't, b/c you never know really I guess huh?

Love that boat Papa, love you more though!!

Really though, I would LOVE to see if you could dump me. I am quite good at "the tube" ;-) heehee Although it has been a few years!

I want to drive and see if I can dump YOU off! *insert maniacal laughter here*

Oh, and I've never driven a boat.

Well, you know my answer: No, NO, NO, No, thank you!!! I will stay on land! You wouldn't need any of those toys to draw me to visit and I won't use any of that expensive gasoline!! lol

We are at our church campground this week then will be heading for Mich. the 13th with our motel on wheels and our own food!!! Too bad you didn't get the gift of cooking along with your love of having company, Mama. I didn't get the gift either!! I hate cooking. We eat out a lot!!!

We promise not to "bug" you this weekend.

By the way, we don't have wireless here. We are at a restaurant (eating, of course). I should clarify that we are camped in the State Campground right beside our church campground so have to go somewhere to use wireless. Probably won't be on very often!

I am SOOO coveting right now! I can't help it. I was just thinking that I REALLY want to take the kids on a vacation this year and I couldn't think of a better place to go than Indian Lake...where my 'extended' family is. Oh, and they have a BOAT too!!!!

Ahhhh....I guess I can dream!

Love and Blessings!!!

Brent - wake boarding is not too difficult - come on over and give it a try!

Brandy - have you ever tried to tube upside down ?? heh heh !! You would if you were behind papa's boat after that comment!

Crossview - papa has never tubed! There is a reason - too many want to do me harm!!! And - i deserve it! They have begged to get papa on a tube!

Janis will be here next weekend (see her comments) maybe i can get her in the boat - but not on the tube. Her Hub I think is going the help me spot tuber's and skiiers!

*** Certificate of Adoption ****

Tam Hodge (married name)is now the official daughter of Indian Lake mama & Papa.

This adoption requires that Brent Hodge continue to pay any expenses incurred By said adoptee until her demise.

Heather - Mama & papa's B&B is now taking reservations!

Very cool :)

I can understand taking donations for gas... who could afford not to...

Indian Lake Papa said...

Robin - come to the lake! I will even buy the gas!

This adoption thing doesn't sound very good to me. I lose my wife, but I still have to pay for her...Hmmmm

:)

Indian Lake Papa said...

Brent - I love having her for a daughter (mostly because I get two more grand kids who are very intelligent and talented) but - she appears to be high maintenance (???) I just need to be cautious. I am willing to negotiate after the great grandkids come along!

Wow Papa, that is a very sleek and may I say sexy looking boat.

When all us blogging friends have our convention it will definitely have to be at your place.

I have never been know as someone will much sense but my sense of balance is very good. We could have a tube riding contest and I am confident I would take first prize. :)

We would have need a very large collection plate to pay for the gas. Maybe Tam and Brent could auction off one of their kids. :)

Indian Lake Papa said...

Ed - I like the convention idea - just prefer it is in the summer! Papa would make sure you win the tubing contest - we can fix that! I think Tam could get a good price for either one of the kids - or both!

IT'S OFFICIAL - IT'S OFFICIAL - IT'S OFFICIAL!!!!

Woooooooo-Hooooooo!!!!

Can I have 10 bucks dad????

Indian Lake Papa said...

Tam - Ten bucks? Let me think about it - (very slight pause) Nope - I need it for gas for precious II - I can get 2 gallons for 10 bucks! (isn't that pathetic!)

We'll be in touch next trip down. It's looking like 4th of July weekend...a busy time on the lake. I will not be dumped off "THE TUBE." I say this because being dumped is often more work than staying on...it's hard for us tubby kids to spring forth from water with no ground to push off from! :)

Indian Lake Papa said...

hi Mindy! if you stop by to ride the tube the weekend of the 4th - good luck! There are about 20 people ahead of you! Mama's family has their family reunion here that weekend! You said come down - where are you at? I want to see you! I found your blog!

Hi Papa and Mama! I was going to ask for an adoption certificate myself, until I saw the "sell the kids" comments! LOL! Besides, it's too late, I already adopted you:) We are hoping to plan a trip downstate this summer....I'm sure we would make time to come and stay at least a night there! (and if I told the kids that papa had a boat and a tube, well, they'd nag us till we got there, that's for sure!) Though, I do enjoy a nice, lazy pontoon ride also:) oh, and mama...I'm married to a chef! YOU would be set!

Indian Lake Papa said...

Kelly! You are adopted! i like all those grandkids! it would be great if you can get down here this summer! Let us know! we are about 3 1/2 hours from your area.

Heather said...

If I wasn't preggers I'd be asking for an invite to come up and play!

Indian Lake Papa said...

Heather - even preggers can ride on the pontoon! Still fun!
