Please! Do not wipe away your tears!

That may be a strange request - but tonight God checked Papa! He told me; "Do not wipe away those tears - those are blessing tears and I want them to run down your cheeks and know that I am touching you through those tears." So I am asking you, the next time that God comes to you - let the tears flow down your face and know that He is touching you. I did not wipe them away. I just allowed them to flow.

Janis, her hub, Mama and I were at a Collingsworth family concert. It was awesome! I was blessed. They sang a song that God poured his spirit on this old soul. An old hymn - "Holy, Holy, Holy". No instruments - just their voices. Our God is so Holy - and yet He loves us so. The song after that said; "Jesus love surrounds us ..." you do know that this Holy God does surround you with his love - right? Then in that same song the words were; "Jesus love astounds us!" Do you really comprehend how much He really loves us? especially as we face the storms of life. One song mentioned that Jesus is always on the other side of the storm and He sees the rainbow before we do!

Today my son came to spend the day on the lake - on Precious II. Two weeks ago I almost lost my son. He lost control of his car at 70 mph on the interstate (heavy rain) the car went out of control into the median - flying past trees, landing in a mud bog out of sight from the road. no damage to the car, no injuries - had to be towed out. I confess, I do not know why God seems to put out his protective hand for some and not for others, but I know regardless - He surrounds us with his love - never for get that.

PLEASE! DO NOT WIPE AWAY THE TEARS!

Papa and Mama,

What an awesome post. I've been lurking for a Loooooong time. But I have so ministered too today..

Papa, first off, Love you and Mama and miss you everday. ;-)

Secondly, it is so hard for me to cry. I rarely cry anymore. I get very choked up and the tears will fill my eyes, but to really cry....I just can't do it much anymore. I am so guarded anymore that I find it hard to REALLY cry. The last time I really really had a good cry was when we moved here, but then it was only for a moment. *sigh*
You always have such good reminders for us. I love ya so much!! I keep checking Brents blog for your video comments. I absolutely LOVE them! Jake has watched a few with me. ;-) They get me one step closer to you....sort of. ;-)

Heidi - more tears this morning - I will pray that you will be ministered to today!

Brandy - Miss you too! I am sure that the move has been fun - but also very hard. Mama and I pray for you all every day. At night when we pray together, mama pours out her heart for you and your family. Our prayers are longer now - I have more daughters now! :o) I will pray the tears will flow again - keep a very tender heart! Email anytime you want!

Darla - I always love your comments - keep that enthusiasm for Christ! You are so right! God will wipe away the tears when we get to heaven! I will miss the tears of joy though!

The concert was very Spirit anointed...God was so near. Many times I could not resist raising my hand in praise to Him, or standing in honor of Him. What a way to start our summer camping season here at ILNC. May God continue to pour out his love here and to each of the your blogging friends' lives. I am so glad God has given you this ministry outlet, Papa...you will never know until the other side how many lives you have touched!

Do your blogger friends know you have a good looking SINGLE son? OR is he attached to someone?

Hi Carol! Nice to hear from you even if you didn't want to share my straw in my malt last night! :o) The concert was very special! my son is still single - he does have a"lady friend" (just a friend) who lurks on my blog - but no comments yet! I am actually saving my son for Tam (same age) in case she ever needs a new one! Ha!

I was at the Collingsworth concert also. I too was blessed to tears when they sang "Holy, Holy, Holy"

Like Carol, I had to stand more than once. How can you stay seated when hearing songs of God's Holiness, faithfulness and perfect love? He deserves our adoration.

Happy Father's Day! I'm glad you were able to spend time with your son and that he wasn't hurt in the accident.

I fell today in the church parking lot and scraped and twisted myself up pretty good. After my Naz Nap I woke up hurting.

Robin - be oh so careful! I hope you are okay! I hope that baby is fine as well! Its okay to wipe away the tears after a fall! I am so thankful my son was not hurt - it was very miraculous! My son is thankful as well - we pray for our children daily - sometimes almost all day long! :o)

Life is so short!
We tend to forget that we're not guaranteed to live to the ripe old age of 100... Ok, I do anyway!
Glad you're son is fine!

Some songs just need to be a cappella! =D

Just wanted to let you know that all is well. I called my doctor's office today at the encouragement of a couple ladies - fellow bloggers :) And I learned that any time a pregnant lady falls she needs to see her doctor at least according to the practice I go to. The doctor said everything was fine with the baby and she confirmed that I have been feeling the baby move. She asked if I was feeling movement yet and I told her that I thought I was but anyone I mentioned it to was doubtful. She then said you are definitely feeling baby movement because I'm feeling it now with my hand on your stomach. How amazing is that? I'm 15 weeks along and have been feeling movement for about a week and a half. Pray this clutzy girl can avoid falls for the duration of this pregnancy...

Praying for you right now!!!

You're so special Papa. I'm so glad that you've got your blog up and running as it blesses me daily. I praise God that he protected your son and spared him any damage. I praise God that he taught you such a sweet lesson in love through your tears.

Hi Kim (W O W) - My tears have become very special and flow quite easily - two years ago i went through a drug induced depression - it was caused by meds I was on for my tremors - ever since then the tears flow quite readily - God has tenderized this soul. Keep tender Kim - I am off the meds and fine now - my opinion! :o)
