Job Wanted!

Have you ever helped someone get a job? Papa has a couple of times. A few year ago "Bill" came by and asked papa to "tweak" his resume' on the computer, scan a picture, and then send it on to a prospective employment agency via email. After several weeks of waiting to find out if he got the job he got that call! Very excited! The only problem now was where would he work? Well, not the north Pole, but close! He is employed at one of the large mall's in the area. He works from noon till closing six days a week from the week before Thanksgiving until Christmas eve. He will go to work today and has been doing this job several years. You see, he is Santa Claus! He loves kids! I even found out that Mrs. Claus has a pretty first name - Martha!

I even know what Santa does in the winter, after Christmas! He likes to head for Florida!

Nope, I never thought I would help Santa get a job!

As Santa would say: " HO HO HO! AND HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!" The Santa above would also say: "REMEMBER THE REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON - THE BIRTH OF OUR SAVIOR!"

Oh no Crossview! The title will say "Indian Lake Papa"!

Well, of course! You have to fill out the "From:" part. Just don't forget mine. I'd prefer black, by the way. ;o)

Your right Crossview: From: Indian Lake Papa - To: Indian Lake Papa -- Keep it up - your vehicle will be black, but it won't be a Vette!

I'm chuckling at the comments.

I hopped over from Roxanne's blog to say hi. I'm a fellow Michigan blogger and she said we're in the same area. Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Papa, It's good you have become good friends with Santa. Maybe he will leave those tickets to Hawaii under your tree.

It is the spirit of Christmas that should count. The way the economy is going can anybody afford presents anyway?

I hope you and Mama have a great Thanksgiving. Don't forget Amos. I know he doesn't eat turkey but he might enjoy some pie.

Ed - yep, I have an 'in' with Santa now. In fact talked to him the other night - so far he has had only one kid upchuck on him - bless him! LOL I may ask for those Hawaii tickets - Amos got extra alfalfa pellets today!! Have a great Thanksgiving!
