We made it!

We are in Florida! We are still setting up! We got to meet Nanatrish and Russ Hutto & his wife on the way down - will tell more later. Face to face meetings with bloggers is special. Well gotta go - water pump is still needing attention. Mama needs water! LoL We are excited to be here!

Thank the Lord you guys are safe and sound. I have been praying you would have a good trip and I see you are in place. I hope you have a relaxing day and get back in the swing in Florida. I so enjoyed being with you guys and we must do it again on the trip back. God is so good!

Nana - we are here! regardless of what Crossview says we are safe and sound! Come on down some time - it was great to see you! Got the water all set!

Darlaa - miss you - now we are even further ! :o( !! Ha - on the water - priority's first! eh?

Crossview - ya know, if you ever got saved, you'd be nicer to your elders! HA! LOL

ROFL! My salvation, unlike your mental soundness, is MOST defnitely assured! =P

And I should be nicer to the elderly. I'll work on that.
WAIT!

I am nice to most of the elderly...

But I still love ya even if your not *ahem* quite right! ;o)

Great to see you made it to Fla.

Nice looking trailer(?) home. It looks roomy enough for the two of you, but not too big to require a lot of work, well except maybe with the water.

Where is the hitching post for Amos?

Crossview - quite right ??!! LOL If I took a vote of my friends - I think they'd agree - both of them!

Scott - its cool today - about 55 for a high! Have the heat on! Tomorrow mid 60's.

Ed - the trailer is very comfortable - single wide 14 x 56 with a nice sun room and car port - water is working fine - have to re-prime the pump each year - not hard. come on down, we will sleep you on the fouton (??)!

So...did you have snow all the way down? I know you left here in the snow, and I think we heard it was snowing all the way to Georgis. Glad you made it safely! And just in time...the white stuff is starting to pile up around here...gonna get a week of it!

Carol - we had a great trip down. Sunday traffic was heavy and roads nasty. Mostly just wet but snowy and icy in Michigan. We had snow flurries and wet roads all the way to Atlanta.

Glad you are back in the sunny south ! I would email you but I don't know how, so I'm just gonna say it here. You give such caring loving advice. (been reading someone's blog that's adopting)
I am sure that everyone you now is blessed by just knowing you.
Peace,
Linda

phew. can rest now knowing you are safe and sound in sunny florida!

did you get the water fixed?

love you!

Llinda - advice comes better w/age! That's because mama and papa made so many mistakes along the way, advice is easy!LOL Thanks for stopping by!

Tam - water is fine. We have our own well so over time not being used it loses prime - kinda like old age! HA! we simply hook up the neighbors hose to the water line and the water pressure goes back into the pump and re-primes it - usually takes an hour or two to get it going - just a waiting game. WE are getting more settled - today should even be better.

We beat papa and mama to Florida by about two weeks. I was so hoping that the summer would straighten that papa up some, but no such luck. We went out to eat with them last evening and he hasn't changed any!!

A message for Tam: Sunny Florida??? It got down in the 30s last night and there is white stuff on the ground and on the car!!!!! Frost, that is!! Definitely not sunny Florida! Brrr! I am hibernating until it warms up!!

WOW. I'm ready for retirement. I think we'll spend it in Tampa.

Well, probably not. Texas isn't too bad for the winter. Maybe we'll get a summer home in the North.

Glad you made it safely!

Michelle - we were in Texas a couple of years ago - too bad we didn't know you then - :O( !! Come to MIchigan - mama and papa have a great B&B !!! LOL
