Family Moments!

Mama and papa have two children. Jeff age 39 and a "younger" sister, Joellen. I won't give her age but she is pushing 40 as well - oh, are we getting old!

Here they are flying kites last spring after celebrating Jo's birthday. I remember the day, it was cool but sunny.

I love my children and cherish the memories. I am glad we are still making memories. As I look at their faces in the pictures I am reminded of a wide assortment of memories. Some memories were made in difficult times, most were not. But as a family we have stuck together regardless.

Jeff And Jo have always been close. We have lived as a family in five different states, papa's career took him around the U.S. But as I put these few notes together, we are separated by 1200 miles but love each other dearly. Jeff and JO are only 15 miles apart! Memories keep your hearts close - make a good memory today.

I'm starting right now! I'll make a memorable dinner. The food is store-bought, but the conversation is homemade.

Char - wonderful! Hope you have a great dinner! Memories are timeless.

It's obvious how much you love your wife and your children. You are so blessed to have the closeness of hearts between all of you. There is nothing in this life that compares to having a loving close-knit family.

Carol - we have worked at it hard. We have had some very difficult times as a family but have somehow been able to use those times to draw closer. Papa needs to work the hardest at it. Fortunately, we have learned to forgive.

Edwina - And, I think God is well pleased as we live as HIs children as well.

DARLA - cherish those memories - you have a great family. Don't let the "enemy" come in and screw them up. Love you all!

CRossview - my kids are close to 40 - but still kids! Recognize the hat my daughter is wearing?

So you have kids near MY age? So that makes you..., ummm, older than them, right??!! =P

CRossview - I said that they were "close to 40" - Not 50! We were extremely young when we had our children - nuff said! LOL

My grandparents had a huge open field that I used to fly a kite in when I was a little girl. I'll never forget how fun that was to me. What fun memories!

Rachel - I remember dad helping us build homemade kites on the farm. Oh what memories.
