Guess Where ??

Well - guess where these pictures were taken - just yesterday! Your right, the Great Wall of China! If you look close at the picture on the left you can see Joellen & Matt hanging out the edge of the wall.

Today at about midnight EST they actually get to pick up Sara. The trip is going very well. They are in good spirits - still keep them in your prayers.

Update: Sunday 2/09/09 8AM
My error, no Sara until Monday at noon which is after midnight tonight here. They are 13 hours ahead of us - we video chatted with them just a few minutes ago !! Doing great!! Keep praying!!

That is awesome, China has such an awesome wall and beautiful scenery. Which brings me to tell you this. I learned that the hill that the wall was built on is only one of two hill like that in the world. The other hills or bluffs as they call them are here in Iowa close to Council Bluffs, IA. I did not know that. A friend told me that a couple of years ago. I am not sure if it is fact, but Council Bluffs is mighty beautiful in the fall. I will pray for them. Love Tanya

I am not sure if I have ever commented on your blog before but I have been reading it for awhile now. I have been following your daughter and son-in-law's adoption of Sara. I think by this time they have been able to pick her up. I can't wait to hear more and to see her in the arms of her parents and grandparents and brother and sister. What a blessing! I'll be praying for a safe trip home for all.

Papa,
Just made a post and that zapped me, so I am going to call you and mama to catch up since I have been so out of the loop fighting my bug. Plus I really need a Papa/Mama lift.
Love you,
