Hand in Hand!

Sara and papa have a very special relationship. How do I know that?? Let me tell the story -

Last Saturday papa met Sara for the very first time. We did fine, but I was concerned, I did not want to scare her and force her to have to be by papa. She smiled, talked and came close, and then it happened ---

All the women of the house headed for the basement to look at something - Sara started to go as well - but turned back, looking at papa sitting in a chair. She came back to papa, said; "Papa come!" and then held out her hand for me to take. I took her hand and we walked hand in hand to the basement stairs, then down the stairs and still hand in hand showed me what she thought was important. Then we got on the floor and just the two of us played together. Papa was blessed and in tears much of the time - I knew then that we were partners.

I pray that today you are walking 'hand in hand' with Jesus. He so much wants you to know He loves you. When He reaches out His hand to you, please take it.

Thank you for reminding me that Jesus holds my hand. Sometimes we get so busy trying to take care of everything, we forget.
You have a beautiful granddaughter but more than that, she has a beautiful Grandpa !

Roxx - just try to imagine how my heart felt when she stuck out her hand - I really lost it inside. Jesus does to when we take His hand.

Papa, very encouraging! Jesus is always there, even the times we think He is not! Your grandaughter is certainly a cutie-pie, and yes she has your genes!
Blessings.

That is a beautiful moment Papa, thanks for sharing it. Sara has a lot of wisdom for one so young.

It sounds like she will teaching you as much as learning from you.

How precious! Did she ask you why you were crying? Children sometimes don't understand tears of joy.

Ed - i hope that I can be a good teacher. She is much fun.

Carol - I don't think she noticed the tears - we were too busy watching the steps and playing on the floor. A special time.

I'm holding His hand. I'm too much of a chicken not to -- not sure how anyone makes it in life without Him.

You are truly blessed, Papa. Little ones holding our hands is one of my greatest joys!

I so thrilled for you Papa!!! Being asked into a child's heart is such a wonderful gift!!
And Yes, My Jesus holds my hand and walks with me though each day!!
I don't know how I would get through them without Him!

She is so sweet. Isn't it wonderful when you realize the other person loves you like you love them?

Realizing Jesus loves us is the most wonderful thing in the world.

Hi Papa, what a wonderful story and illustration. If Sara thinks you're okay, then you're okay. And I know for sure that Jesus thinks you're okay :)
