Beautiful Flowers!!!

Are these not the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen?!! The hills and fields in many areas are full of these yellow flowers.

The other day mama and papa baby sat for Sara. In the afternoon we had to meet the bus to walk another one of our grandchildren home. On the way Sara noticed the yellow flowers, abundant along the way. She stopped and picked a few and even gave papa some - what a precious gift for papa.

Papa even stuck a couple of them around his glasses - Sara thought that was funny.

Do you see God's abundance of flowers He has provided for us - or do you walk along and just see the weeds? Papa sometimes see's too many weeds and needs to be watching for the flowers.

And you did see the 'ellow flowers!
I'm so glad Sara showed you!

I bet you're an awesome Grandpa!

K - beauty seems to hang around her! She is very precious!

Crossview - them sure are 'ellow flowers' - I try to be a good grandpa! We play with play-dough real well together.

she's such a doll! and I don't know why we get so disturbed about all of the natural flowers that God plants for us to enjoy. who ever said a solid green lawn is the perfect lawn? it's just the standard we set for ourselves, and God wants us to enjoy the natural world He created. just like Sara does. she has no concept of weeds...and unless we become like little children, we will have no place in his kingdom....didn't I read that somewhere?

Sara has much to teach us!

Love the picture of beautiful Sara. A happy smile can turn a bouquet of weeds into roses.

I think we can learn a lot from weeds. To become as tough and resilient they are.

It is good that you have Sara with you, to help you find the flowers that are all around us.

Carol - she is a sweetheart - she is warming up to papa - she loves mama, mama brings gum!

Ed - Children help us find a lot of things don't they? Kids are good for us!

Crossview - I cherish Ed & Carol's comments - yours as well. Carol and I are "neighbors & friends" so that is extra special.

Oh, Papa, you are kind to me. Listen, I know that my blogs get really long since I don't blog often, but yesterday I wrote a piece about "It's all about me!" I do think you will enjoy it...a satire (sort of like you write...grin). It's my opinion of why we are in such a mess in our world, our country, and our homes. Enjoy.

Thanks, Crossview, for your kind words!

Beautiful! Someone once referred to me as a weed, and they meant it as an insult - but I took the words to mean that you can yank me up out of the ground and discard me, but I come back :)

Be blessed - wait, you already are!

LA - HA! That was good - you sound ready to fight !! HA! I don't think you are a weed!
