Are you a Swinger?

Mama and papa are real swingers! How about you? Actually one of my blogging & facebook friends, Kelly, lives walking distance from where this picture was taken. The 'puddle" of water in the background is Lake Michigan.

Tomorrow, June 10th, is mama's birthday. I already got her a new riding mower for her when we renewed our vows so this time I got her flowers, candy, a card and a battery for her bike computer. I think after the mower, I am now back on her good side. I gotta keep my swing'in partner happy!

Boy do you two walk on the wild side!! ;o)

Uh, did she want that mower, or did you?

And a Honda?? You ARE kidding, right?

Crossview - We are the wild ones! Watch out - actually mama and I share mowing responsibilities. Are you really sure its not a Honda? Maybe it is a Polaris ??

ROFL! Do you really want to bring a retired Marine out of retirement??!!

Crossview - Don't forget, you'd be messing with a real "swinger".

Wish Mama a happy birthday for me.

Those are some pretty big looking swings. They don't look kid sized, but just right for a couple of swingers like you and Mama. Do you have to get an extra push to get going? :)

"battery for her bike computer"

Mama's bike has a computer in it? That is a pretty high tech bike. :)

Hi Ed - mama's bike has a computerized device that tells the speed, distance, avg speed, plus time and other stuff. The accuracy is phenomenal! We both have them on our bikes - a battery will last several years.

I will make sure she gets the birthday wishes.

Wish that sweet (and patient and tolerant and kind) woman a happy birthday from me. I'd be careful if I were you when Mama is out there mowing. . .

btw, I get vertigo if I swing too much. God's way of keeping me grounded I guess.

LA - Mama and I love to swing! LOL Mama does a good job mowing - I stay out of the way.

I wonder if you can swing high enough to flip yourself in the the water and do a belly flop? He, he.

I just saw your note on my blog about your pancake dinner (after I Skyped you --- opppsa daisy!!!). Here is the comment I left you on my blog:

Ooopss... Papa, I did not see this until AFTER I Skyped you and MAMA. Sorry!!! Anyway, I am glad you told me you were in a hurry and hope I did not make you too late. Don't want to be last in line when the griddle is hot!!! Hope you have a wonderful time. Thanks for squeezin' in a few minutes before you left. Would have totally understood if you hadn't picked up, but very kind nonetheless.

LOVE YOU!!!

Did she like her new battery? 'Cause I'm thinking that if I had a bike, a battery for it would be, like, one of the most romantic gifts ever. =P

Crossview - she loves the new battery! She feels just like the energizer bunny now - and just as cute!
