Beautiful Flowers!

We love flowers! Here is a picture of Hollyhocks in our front yard. The flowers are 9' tall - I measured them this morning! They are beautiful! God's art work is untouchable! The kind of sad story is that sometime this fall they will die, they are already at their peak. BUT, next spring they will be back.

Another beautiful flower in this picture is mama! Isn't she beautiful - inside and out! I love mama. If God takes her before me, I will miss her. BUT just like the flower she will bloom again someday - and this time for eternity. I anxiously await the day that mama and I can walk hand in hand in God's flower garden.

This is Mama..The neat thing about the flowers are we did NOT plant them there. They just came up last year. They are blossoming where GOD planted them. I want to blossom where ever God plants me. Mama

Awe you are so sweet!
My uncle Don told me that the plants that pop up in the garden that you don't plant are called volunteers. Would you call that flower a volunteer or a gift?
We are looking forward to seeing you again soon and having fun playing Social Security.

Peter - the flowers are definitely volunteers - we thank God for putting them there - we are enjoying them. See ya soon -

That is a big plant with beautiful flowers. The flowers die off in Fall, probably not to far from the time you and Mama leave for Florida. Then it returns in Spring, just as you two do.

I love the beautiful colors, and fresh fragrance, of flowers, as long as somebody else is doing the weeding and watering. I think if I had a garden I could probably grow weeds pretty well.

I must nice Papa, to sit out on your porch and watch all you beautiful flowers, the Hollyhocks and Mama.

Hi Papa, I'm trying to catch up on reading blogs - so many nice people out there with so many nice things to say. We love flowers, too.

Be blessed.

Other than Mama, what's your favorite flower? I can't decide if mine is a bleeding-heart (they don't last long) or the black-eye susan.

Be blessed
