The end of time!

A couple of years ago I woke up one morning and I could not find my watch. I always put my watch on the dresser at night but that particular morning it was not there. I wasn't too alarmed as I was sure I would find it somewhere in the house. After two days of no watch, I was puzzled - where had I put it? I searched the car, asked mama if she had seen it - it had disappeared.

As I was riding my bike around Indian Lake, which is a ride that is 12 miles long, I kept wondering where could I have put my watch? Suddenly, I began to wonder if maybe the band had broke, could the watch have fallen off and I did not notice. I decided to retrace my bike route and check. The bike ride was quite routine so if that was the case - maybe I would find it. Well, I did - not good. I found it in the road ran over by many a car. Destroyed. Time had ceased for that watch.

Some day - time will cease to exist. I am not talking about death. I am talking about time. No, I don't have this all figured out but I believe when God sounds that trump, time will cease to exist and we will begin a "new time". God's time table. Not sure exactly what God has planned, but I think right now I have a choice as to what I can do when time shall stop to exist as we know it. After the moment that time ceases to exist, our choices will be very limited. I'd suggest that you make the right choices now so that when you no longer can alter your choice - make sure it is right.

Sorry about your watch! =(

Hope it wasn't a Rolex. ;o)

Whatever God's timing, I'm ready! =D

Not a Rolex! It was probably about a 40 dollar watch.

See ya there - bring Precious.

Hi Papa. Too bad about the watch. I think those who have not made the decision to choose Christ will wish that time would cease to exist for them because it will be painful for them. I pray that you and I and other believers can reach those around us who have not made that decision yet - before time runs out.

Love and miss you.
Be blessed.

LA - I think about time a lot. It drives us - our lives are driven by time. I wonder what eternity will be like? When do we start ??

Papa, maybe you were being sent a message when that watch got run over. :)

Most of my life I lived by the clock. Retiring brought me freedom from time. My alarm clock was the first thing I threw away.

All we can do is try to make the best choices each day. Time will tell which are the right choices.

You always write the best posts. I'm glad to hear from you. I am doing pretty good. I just have to say I am very blessed. My question is how are you doing? When you and mama head back to Michigan give me a call. We can meet again. God is so good and thinking about 'time' is something we all need to do.He loves us and wants us to use our time wisely. Thank you for praying for me. If I can get this report done I will be a happy girl!

Ed, I am very time conscious - very much so. I hope I use it wisely. I guess the "Choices R Mine".

Trish - will check back with you to see what are schedule looks like going back - we may be able to have lunch. Glad you are okay.

I caught that: You lost your clock and you weren't alarmed. ;-)

Time seems to become more valuable the less you feel that you have of it.

It is cool that we have an eternity to be with the one who loves us more than anything.

Peter - What do you think we will be doing in eternity? Whatever it is, it will be for a long time.

I plan on worshiping God, thanking Jesus for his sacrifice, love and marveling at the all that God has created.
Sure the Swiss time piece is impressive but have you seen a DNA molecule or compared it to the largest known star in the universe "VY Canis Majoris" (Big Dog)?
Just think God is bigger than the universe! I can't imagine how great heaven will be.
