Adams Place For Kids - Trail Ride

Today, Susan and I Trailered 2 horses to northern Indiana to participate in a benefit ride for Adams Place For Kids. We were part of a group of riders that rode to help this program for disadvantaged kids.

It was a long day but lots of fun. I got to ride Amos for a couple of hours and that is always a pleasure for me!

M - it was a great day - and I arrived home safe! Sound may be very questionable.

Helping disadvantaged children and getting to ride Amos, that's a win-win, for you, Amos and the kids.

I was so pleased to see you doing the laundry. It becomes you :)

I have been having a rough time, but I know God is near and dear to me. We are suppose to thank God for our trials and praise Him when they are done. I am waiting for the praising part.

Bless you and mama.

Ed, Mama and I love to work with kids. This week is VBS at church (Vacation Bible School) for kids - we are kind of putzing around helping with that.

Your right, riding Amos was a bonus!!

What a fun day! I have always loved horses and my late friend Jacki always said she was going to take us riding some day. Some day never came for her!

Anne - horses are a passion of mine - I will be very upset the day I can not ride again. They are a spectacular animal - created by a God who loves such a creature. I think God thought a horse would be sufficient for the Garden of Eden, but then decided to create humans. He should of stuck with the horse! LOL
