Mama had her surgery!

This is what mama does best! She loves babies! We both work the nursery every Sunday through the summer months. Mama had her cancer surgery yesterday - it looks like mama will be doing this for many years to come! Praise God! Her surgery was a great success. She will probably go through a series of radiation treatment as a precautionary treatment.

It is 7AM here. Mama has been awake since about 3AM, me about 4:30AM. No, it is not because of pain but more about praising our Lord. We have been playing Christian music, answering emails, facebook, and my blog. AND PRAYING! Mostly prayers of thanksgiving and praying for many of you with the personal requests you have given or we have observed.

May God bless you as you serve HIM!!

WE love you all!
Papa & Mama too!

Praise God for HIS healing and giving doctors HIS wisdom on how to work HIS miracles.

Papa...do you have enough help there? I really wish I could come help but know I'm a stranger and so far away. Please don't struggle together at home. If someone asks 'what do you need' please tell them and allow God to use His servants. It will bless them to help you.

Great to hear Mama's surgery was a success. With all her radiation treatments Mama is going to be one hot lady, which of course she is already. LOL

That is a beautiful picture of Mama with the baby. Think of all the babies she has shared her love with, past, present and in the future.

Peter - thanks for hanging with me during mama's surgery. She is doing great! You really made my day go fast.

Ruth - stop in any day and say hi to mama! LOL

Parsley - We are doing great! Mama is having trouble pulling the starter cord on the mower, but I can do that! LOL!! We are terrific! God has been so good!

Ed, mama is a great mama! The title is appropriate!! We have been treated well - we have had so much food brought in we have had to freeze some of it. One of neighbors even came over and started the mower so that mama could mow the lawn - just kidding! LOL

Holding babies is cheap and effective therapy for anything!

Praise God!! You are 2 of the dearest folks on Earth and I am so happy that Mama did well with her surgery. Now, listen up, if make Mama mow the lawn or if you even think about letting her do the dishes, we will come there and . . . and . . . do something serious! Take good care of each other, as I know you do. Love and miss you.

LA - I will be watching for you! You are easy to recognize - Big nose and heavy dark glasses!

Mama did good with the push mower yesterday, she was a little slow coming back in the house to fill up my glass with ice tea while I watched the baseball game, but that is understandable.

God is good isn't He? His healing is the ultimate gift. I know so many here who are hurting. Perhaps that is a service the Lord wants us to provide. I see so many who are lost and do not know the Lord. This blogging business is good stuff! Praise God for both of you! Anne
