Default!!

I have a new iMac computer! I love it! As you can tell I spend quite a bit of my time on my computer. One of the things I like is the ability to "Default" some of the settings. For example, when someone sends me a web link I have set my computer to open up that link into my "default" browser - Google Chrome. I also use Firefox and Safari web browsers. But right now Google Chrome is my default.

When I open up up any of the three browsers my default homepage is my facebook wall. Cool! I like this default feature.

Are you a Christian? Do you claim to be putting Christ first in your life? Is it fair to assume then that when your mouth opens up with conversation that your conversation "defaults" to Christ? When you are sitting with friends or family - where does your conversation go to? Does it default to a Christ centered conversation? I don't know about you, but I have to work on this!!

Hi Papa! I bet were we honest, all of us would have to say we have to work on that!

I just love how you bring out thoughts in your posts!

Actually, yes. Not to sound prideful but YES I typically DO insert Christ into my conversations by default.

I found myself last week almost apologizing for sounding like a 'zealot' but my friend laughed and said 'That's just who you are.'.

Thanks for making me smile today.

Michelle - I think you are right, we could all work on this.

Thats great Parsley! I am doing better but still need to work on it.
Have a "smiley" day!!

Congrats on your shiny, new, iMac, with not just one, but three browsers to chose from.

I must admit I am a tad envious. That's not very Christian I know, but since I am an Atheist what can you expect. LOL

My default is set at asking questions about everyone, and everything, everywhere in world. This does keep me busy so it is a good thing I am retired.

Ed, even as a Christian we have to struggle with envy! LOL You as an Atheist don't have to worry! But mama thinks in your heart you are a Christian, you just don't know it yet!She thinks you are a neat guy. So do I - a good friend.

I love this computer!!

Yes I need to work a little bit harder, but It seems as thouhj mostly my default of life is set on Christ, the bible says Watch your life and doctrine so you can save yourself as well as your hearers, don't want to be s atumbling block to someone by having my default set on worldly desires.

Scott - I think this is one of those issues we can all work on!!

YAY!!!! And, Papa, I just downloaded a program that will keep my eyes from becoming super-strained by staring at the computer all the time. It's called "Time Out" - and it's FREE! :)
http://www.dejal.com/timeout/

The experts say that we should give our eyes a break every 20 minutes - look at something at least 20 feet away - for 20 seconds - and this will save our eyes from computer strain. So there ya go.
