Say hello to a stranger!
I have decided that by Sunday I want to say hello to a stranger or someone I need to speak to. I guess I had better keep an ear open the next couple of days to Gods voice. Will let you know Monday how it went!
Tam, Io just hope I don't miss anyone that God has put in my pathway. I spoke to two strangers at LOWE's ("Toys R us" for us men) today with good feedback and also a check-out lady at WalMart - fun! I noticed my demeanor has been friendlier today.
That is great! I'm sure you will make the day of whatever stranger you meet. My husband is the type that has never met a stranger. Because of his car accident and TBI that he suffered he is especially sensitive to people who have similar difficulties. I think he has helped me step out of my comfort zone because I tend to talk to lots of strangers :)
Toys R Us for men! That is so right on Papa! Actually, I LOVE Lowes! I could get lost in their for hours and dream and dream!
Papa, you are such a great example and influence. I can't get you and your family off my mind. What an impact you have made on me in the short time we've known each other. I am praising God for you this day!
Thank you for loving Him so passionately and spending your years extending that love to others. You inspire!
I just started a book by Mother Teresa and she said, "Peace begins with a smile. Smile five times a day at someone you don't really want to smile at at all. Do it for peace. Let us radiate the peace of God and so light His light and extinguish in the world and in the hearts of all men all hatred and love for power. Smile at one another. It is not always easy. Sometimes I find it hard to smile at my Sister, but then I pray."
Have a best friend and a wife named Judy who happen to be the same person, two children , three grand children and love horses. Have worked winter months as a volunteer at a Horse Rescue farm. Active in church teach adult SS class. Have spent many hours trail riding on horseback!
Two of my grand children are international grand children - I am a very lucky papa!

Robin, I plan to update tomorrow on my stranger project. Nothing super today but I was obedient and will tell you about Steve and Greg.
Tam, thanks for your kind words. Life is wonderful Tam, don't ever let Satan tell you other wise!
I can't wait to read your update!
