About a week ago mama had her annual mamogram. They just called and want to do a retake of the Mamogram and possibly a CAT scan this Thursday. Papa is not handling this well - this is my bride of 44 years, my best friend.
This may be nothing just a retake but regardless we would covet your prayers.
We leave for vacation on Friday but will try to update late Thursday if we hear anything.
God bless!
Papa and Mama too!!

She has my prayers and you do too. It's scary, I know. What would we do without the Lord?!
Parsley - don't tell anyone, but papa looks good on the outside, but I get scared easily when mama is at stake. We are turning it over to God, but if He wants my opinion I know what He should do! :)
You are not alone. We all find ways of putting on a brave face when we are shaking on the inside. It's not lack of faith, but the unknown.
I know your leaning on God. As you are walking with Him on the beach of life, look back. See two sets footprints? Now imagine seeing one set of footprints in the sand. Let Him carry you.
On my knees with you.
Both you and Mama are in my thoughts as always.
The unknown is scary. What you do know is that you can always count on faith.
I hope you have good news when I see you both.
Thanks Parsley for your encouraging words.
Ed - We are thankful for our faith and trust God. We really appreciate your thoughts and will be anxious to see you next week.
Praying that it is JUST a retake! Hugs to you both!
Crossview - we are praying as well that it is just a re-take.
We lift you both up in prayer, believing in God to do what He does best - care for His children. Know you are loved.
LA - thank you - plan to see you soon! Keep us in your prayers - especially tomorrow!
You are so in my prayers. I think of what God told the Israelites so many time, Be strong and of good courage. You will make it through this.
Tanya - we will be going in 2 hours for re-tests - keep praying. Will try to do an update later.
Kim and I are praying that the recheck is clear. We love you two and we don't want anything bad to happen. We pray for good results. May God hold you both tightly in His arms.
