Church Flooded - Endicott, NY

This picture was taken by me on September 22nd. Where the drywall was cut is just above the flood line. The entire church was flooded and had to be stripped like this. The contents of each area had to be removed and trashed - yes pews included. Everything was soaked because of the flood. Water was at least 2' ABOVE the pews. Mama and I stayed till yesterday morning then got home yesterday afternoon.

Please pray this area, Endicott, NY. In the county I believe over 1700 homes plus were flooded, many way beyond repair. It has been declared a Federal Disaster area.

Thank you for your faithfullness in helping in a radical way to this church, 600 miles away from your home. Thank you for giving us the pleasure of your company for dinner on a horrible rainy night. Thank you for accepting the groovy T-shirts we made for you! I will always remember what you said to me as we walked into the restaurant, "You're Crazy!"

Be blessed. From your #1 fan.

LA - We sure love you! We so enjoy being with you & your hub. We had a great time in Endicott. We LOVE those tee shirts! Quite the conversation pieces!

We love you - friends forever!

I hope that you can get some photos of the church after it is completely repaired.
I'm sure that they appreciated all the hard work you all did getting the place cleaned up. :-)
See you soon.

Peter - I do as well! I wish we could be there when they have their Re-Dedication" ceremony! We will probably be in Florida.

Crossview, it was a good trip. A spiritual awakening for me as well.

Very sad and devastating. I can imagine how the pastor and flock feel.
3 years ago we had a Tent up, planting a new church when the August winds tore the tent to shreds. Needless to say, it was the end of our campaign.
I enjoy your blog.
