Go Fly A Kite!

Today we celebrated my daughters birthday! Our son suggested we go fly kites - so we did! Family time is so precios - cherish it - make wonderful memories! Here are some of our memories! Here is the birthday girl!
Here is brother and sister trying to learn how to fly bro's two wire kite!!Success at last! For the moment! That kite was wild & tricky! What a blast!
Even mama and papa got into the act - mama was cold! It was about 55!
Even the grand kids got into the act! Fun was had by all! Today was a great day!

Where were you at? It doesn't look like the campground. For all of you outside the state of Michigan, Indian Lake Papa and Mama got back this past week from wintering in Florida, and just for them...we are predicted to have another snow fall the next two nights. Ug!! I'm guessing it doesn't happen, but just in case...it's a good thing they flew kites today!

Brandy - miss you too - and we are even closer! Yep, she got her looks from mama - no doubt! Maybe some of her intellect and humility from me!

When I tell someone to go fly a kite, they don't usually do it! Happy Birthday to your daughter. As always, it's a pleasure to read your blog. Be blessed.

Couldn't pass up your comment to Brandy about your intellect and humility..........uh, yeah!! lol

From the sounds of the weather forecast for the next couple of nights, I think we all should have stayed in Fl. until the middle of May. How will mama survive...she was always cold down there!!!!!

Papa, I got Dylan a kite for his birthday yesterday. :D I am hoping the wind picks up in the next day or so and we'll go try it out.

Today we (all 5 of us) went on a walk for SEVERAL HOURS. :D We went through the neighborhoods, to the shoppette, to the library where we stocked up on books, then we walked home and dropped off the strollers and then walked down the street to the park. :D Today was such a fun day!

Love you! :D

Happy Birthday to your daughter!!!

The kite flying looks great. I haven't flown a kite in forever. there was someone in the park behind us flying one on Sunday and it was a blast to watch.

Family time is so special Brent - fight for it! Don't let work or church crowd family time out!
